About
Yasuko Ozeki
Freediving instructor(AIDA)
I was born in Hiroshima, and living in Chiba now.I started freediving as a new hobby in 2016.
Before I knew it, I was drawn in more and more by its charm, and I started participating in competitions all over the world, both in the pool and in the sea. Then, in September 2023, I retired from the pharmaceutical company I worked for. I chose to work as an athlete and instructor.
For me, the most appealing thing about freediving is that "diving to distances and depths you've never reached before gives you the feeling of glimpsing a new world.'' Furthermore, there are many other attractions such as the beautiful underwater world and the calm and friendly freedivers! I would be happy if as many people as possible learned about freediving.
My activities are mainly in Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa. I also offer on-site training courses anywhere in Japan, so please feel free to contact me.
